Vegas at The Ocean Terminal, Leith on Saturday 27th August 2005

This has to go down as one of the best Ocean Terminal events ever! HB Radke and his Jet City Swingers flew in from Seattle and wowed the crowd with two scintillating sets of super-charged swing. It was a true pleasure and privilege to entertain these fine gentlemen for the weekend and they returned the favour by entertaining an appreciative crowd of Vegas hipsters and hepcats with one of the best live performances we've seen at the club. "Leaving on a Jet Plane", of course, was a highlight, and their live rendition of this Vegas anthem even eclipsed the great version from their album which we use to close every show, but there were too many highlights to mention and we just can't wait to bring the guys back over again sometime very soon. Thanks too to Dynamo's Rhythm Aces: it's always a pleasure to have this fine band perform for us. And a special mention for the Vegas crowd: it's all you cats and kittens who make Vegas so special. Thanks for looking fabulous and creating such a truly unique atmosphere!
